• What is the determiners?

             A determiners is a word that comes before a noun or noun phrase .A determiner identifies                   whether the noun or noun phrase is general of specific.

• We use determiners at the start of the noun.
• we aren't use determiners more than once in the start of the noun phrase. 

       There are several types of determiners.

1. Articles.
2. Demonstratives.
3. Quantifiers.
4. Possessives.  
5. Cardinal and ordinal numbers.
6. Relative pronouns.

                                          Articles.

    

      There are two kinds of  articles.

• An/A=  An with singular noun beginning with a vowel.

                       A with singular noun beginning with a consonant.

• The   = For singular and plural nouns but the noun have to be specific.                                      

        Example for "An/A"

1. Please hand me a  book.
2. My mother is an honest women.
3. She is a beautiful lady.
4. I heard an interesting story today.
5. Please give me a  bottle of water.
6. Please give me an ice cube.
7. Please give me a data card.
8. She is a women.
9. He is a trainee of mas holdings.
10. She is an one of brilliant student in my class.

1. Please give me the hammer.
2. THE past two decades have been significant in the world history due to changes that took place in technology.
3. THE manner of career opportunities are liable to change specifically in the near future.
4. Maithreepala sirisena is the 6 th president in sri lanka.
5. She is the  hod in our department.
6. Apple iphone 7+ is the best phone in the world.
7. ATI is the best institute for hnd.
8. Shani abessekara is the  directer of criminal investigation department.
9. I watch the tv siries supernatural .
